So apparently I am really bad at blogging! I am constantly thinking "Oh I need to blog about this!", but then I never do. But I am finally forcing myself to write something! Just a quick update and then hopefully soon I will have time to post pictures.
First, I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I love Christmas, but ever since having kids it has turned into a very busy and stressfull holiday. There really is nothing better though than watching your kids open presents. Jack is way into Christmas this year and it has been so much fun. Seriously for the last week he made everyone call him Santa. So on Christmas morning we had to wake the boys up at 6:30 so we could have enough time to visit with everyone. Jake came over and we opened presents (except for Ollie. He was too obsessed with the car we got him to pay attention to anything else). Then it was off to my dad's house to open presents with my family and have breakfast. On the way there we almost got in a terrible accident. We slid completely through the intersection on Redwood and 90th while traffic was going the other way. We missed a car by maybe 6 inches. It really freaked me out the rest of the day, but made me realize how lucky and blessed I am. Even in hard times when I think that nothing else could go wrong, it could always be worse. The accident probably wouldn't have even been that bad, but to even think for one second that I could have lost my boys tore me up. They are everything to me and I really don't know where I would be without them. I am also so thankful that I have my wonderful family that is always there for me and my boys. I feel so lucky to have so many people that care about us. Anyways, we had lots of other running around and visiting that day but it would take way too long to blog about everything!
Now something super exciting!! Sammy is going to be induced on Monday!! Yeah I am finally going to be an aunt! She really isn't due til January 9th, but with all of her kidney problems and the risk of her getting preclampsia being so high, they decided it would be best to take him early. So bright and early Monday morning they are going to induce her. Hopefully it will go fast and easy and she will have a healthy baby! I can't wait to hold little Milo! And I know Sammy is going to be such a great Mommy!
Also, starting on Sunday I am going to be a working woman again. Scary! It has been 3 years since I have had a job and I am kinda getting nervous to go back! I am actually super excited to work, I am just really sad to be leaving my boys :( I get panicky thinking about someone else taking care of them all day. But now that I am a single mommy I guess I gotta make some money! I am going to be a manager at Aero with my good friend Megan who I love so much. So hopefully working with her will make it easier to go back. So if anyone is shopping at South Towne Mall, stop in and say hi!!
I will post lots of Christmas pics soon, but I wanted to put up some pictures of the cute wipe cases I just made! Kim had one of these and I thought it was so adorable so I decided to make my own (and sell them on my website of course). Anyways I made one for me and one for my sister. But if any of you need one just let me know!! (This actually turned out to be a really long post!)
